Reviews made Snug Harbor Fish Company seem like an interesting destination for a drive on country roads along the coast. We did enjoy the scenery along the way. When we arrived we were disappointed that the place has no scenic views, just the street. We weren't very hungry so it seemed like a good opportunity to buy some fresh fish at the market and enjoy it at home. Unfortunately, their prices are about double what you'd expect to pay at similar seafood outlets, and those prices are already over-inflated. A disappointment overall.

Best lobster roll I've ever had! Fresh lobster meat, light mayo, lemon juice, celery, scallions,salt and pepper... AMAZING! Very tasty coleslaw that included apples and dried cranberries. Creamy delicious clam chowder lots of clams (maybe no onions?) And the staff were friendly, the owner gave us samples of her just finished fish stew, so delightful!

Plenty of Food in the Snug Harbor Platter, Good selection of Local Fresh Seafood, Row to go or Cooked to order. Seating is outside, just a brief table service, napkins, condiments, and get you started after you placed order inside. Simple service, good food, nice atmosphere.

Excellent boiled lobster take out!!!

The food was great, has a nice little fish market on the inside if you want to buy any fresh fish to go. The fried whole belly clams and fries were the new england classic and are delicious. The fries seemed to be tossed in a little bit of old bay seasoning which was perfect. Anytime I am at the duxbury beach I stop by.

Always a great place to stop for lunch and get a seafood plate. Fish is fresh and always delicious. Local fresh fish always in stock for grabbing something to cook for dinner.

SHFC is literally the best. I've been in other surrounding retailers like Snug Harbor and it's cleaner, with better selection and the staff is fantastic. Prices are reasonable...but remember, you get what you pay for - so expect the highest quality seafood, and a knowledge base that's unmatched. Any time I want to blow my guests minds and pallets with high quality seafood, my go-to is Snug Harbor. Check em out. You won't be disappointed.

I adore this restaurant a lot. there is a very nice mood. The kitcen is great. the service is efficient and the waiters are well trained. The cost is fair. deeply recommend.

This place is awesome. Top notch seafood. The halibut swordfish and striped bass filets look amazing Fresh fish and shellfish The fried seafood plates (fried fish,shrimps and scallops) are arguably the best I’ve had in the US I just wish they recycled.

One of if not my favorite places to eat. The lobster here is amazing. The fish and chips is awesome. And for the picky children, they have hot dogs. And from the reviews I've heard, the hot dogs are really good. It's at a great location, right on the bay. What I do is eat here, then head next door to french memories for some dessert. If your looking for sea food in Duxbury, this is the only place you should go to.

Fresh Seafood, reasonable prices and tremendous, friendly service

This was our second stop on the K&J Retired Persons Lobster Roll Tour 2019. This quaint store makes a great lobster roll. There is no indoor seating so go on a nice day or plan to do takeout. The lobster was fresh and cold. The pieces were small so it was not chewy. However, the small bits allowed the scallions and celery to add a subtle taste. That, along with the lite mayo and hint of lemon made for a tasty meal. I highly recommend the coleslaw as it had small bits of apple and cranberry. The seating outside is small but pleasant. Highly recommended. Clearly in the top five of the many lobster rolls we have had.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way to Cape Cod. It was an awesome decision. They have the best oysters (Duxbury ones, of course!) and the swordfish burger was amazing.
